Chippers

Postby Kate LJ » Thu Dec 09, 2010 5:52 pm

Been looking around for a decent chipper. Checked out some videos online showing off particular models, but when i've spoken to people who own them the comments are not always complimentary. Has anyone got any ideas or advice about chippers that have been tried and tested and more importantly, if they would recommend them? :?:

I'd be interested in hearing about GENUINE capacities and rates of chipping, maintenance intervals and ease and frequency of sharpening.

Yes, exactly! Do they really take the diameter they say they do? How many branches are perfectly straight?!!
